Sasural Simar ka 2
The second season of the Indian Supernatural television series Sasural Simar Ka 2 on Colors TV on April 26, 2021. It is a reincarnation of the popular soap opera Sasural Simar Ka, which debut in 2011. Radhika Muthukumar, Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma, Karan Sharma, and Jayati Bhatia are among the cast members of this Rashmi Sharma Telefilms production.
Plot
The narrative, which takes place in Agra, centers on the two sisters Simar and Reema Narayan, who have distinct personalities. Reema wants to be a model, while Simar wants to be a singer. Cousins Aarav and Vivaan Oswal cherish and respect one another. Simar falls for Aarav while they both fall for Reema. Instead, Simar is asked to wed Aarav, but the Oswals turn her down. Geetanjali arranges for Vivan to marry Kajal, but on the day of the wedding, Vivan goes to the temple and marries Reema because he loves her. Aarav begins to fall for her. After learning her reasons for wanting to marry Vivaan, Reema realizes how much she loves him. On the wedding day, however, he misbehaves with her, and Sandhya slaps him and tells him to keep away from her daughter. Aditi and Mohit’s union disintegrates. Geetanjali forced a divorce between Simar and Aarav.
Casting
Dipika Kakar’s confirmation to play Simar Bhardwaj again came through the first promotional video. To repeat her role as Mataji in a cameo and take on the new character of Badi Maa, Jayati Bhatia was hired. For new leads, Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma, Radhika Muthukumar, and Karan Sharma were chosen.
The show’s recurring parts were filled by Aarav Chowdhary, Shital Thakkar, Vibha Bhagat, Rakshit Wahi, Rajeev Paul, Leena Prabhu, Anita Kulkarni, Akash Jagga, Shakti Singh, and Shubhangi Tambale. Jayaprada will appear as a cameo at Gajendra and Sandhya’s wedding anniversary in March 2022. In April 2022, Wasim Mushtaq left the program.
